Privacy Policy

We only ask for the information we need to send your order, answer your questions and, if you want them, send you our recipes. We never sell your data to anyone.

Who we are

Vegama , CVR 12345678 Spangsbjerg Kirkevej 103, 6700 Esbjerg, Denmark, is responsible for the personal data collected on vegama.dk.

What we collect and why

  • When you buy or book a class: your name, email, address, phone and what you ordered, so we can deliver it and send your receipt. We keep this for 5 years, because Danish bookkeeping law asks us to.
  • When you sign up for our newsletter or the free recipes: your name and email, so we can send them. Only with your consent, and only until you unsubscribe.
  • When you write to us through the contact form: your name, email and message, so we can answer you. We delete it within 12 months.
  • When you comment on a recipe: your name, email and comment, so your comment can be shown. Your IP address is also saved to help us stop spam.
  • When you create an account: your username, email and password (encrypted), so you can see your orders. You can delete the account at any time.
  • When you tell us about allergies before a class: we use it only to cook safely for you, and delete it after the class.
  • When you share a photo with #VegamaKitchen: we always ask before we repost it, and remove it if you ask us to.

Who helps us

We share data only with the companies that help us run the shop, and only what they need:

  • Stripe handles card and MobilePay payments. We never see your full card number.
  • Simply hosts vegama.dk.
  • DAO delivers physical orders.
  • Gravatar (Automattic): when you comment, a coded version of your email address is sent to Gravatar to show your profile picture, if you have one.
  • Google Fonts loads the fonts on the site, which sends your IP address to Google.

Some of these companies are based outside the EU. When your data leaves the EU, it is protected by the EU’s standard contract rules or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

Your rights

You can always ask us to:

  • show you the data we have about you,
  • correct it or delete it,
  • send it to you in a file you can take elsewhere,
  • stop using it, or withdraw your consent.

Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom.

Questions or a complaint?

Write to us at vegama@easv365.dk and we’ll answer within 30 days. If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet.
